Pam Elders, Board Chair, was a Head Start Director for 25 years, and before retiring in 2008 worked as Operations Director in a large non-profit human services agency. She was  a founding member of the alliance to convert LCPCS to a charter school and wrote the Federal grant which brought $450,000 to the planning and implementation effort. She looks forward to working with the community, families and staff to fulfill the school's vision of graduating successful learners who are job, school and life-ready.

Don Bryan is a forester, an entrepreneur, and a grandpa. In addition to the LCPCS Governing Board, he currently serves on the board of Hui Kāko`o O Laupāhoehoe and the Hawai`i Forest Industry Association, and is a board member and forester with Hāmākua Tropical Woods. His hobbies include managing the LCPCS wood and auto shops.

Alfred Kent is a retired engineer and has lived in Papa'aloa since 2011. In addition to serving on the LCPCS Governing Board, he is a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the County Novice Swim Team at Laupahoehoe Pool. For 4 years, he was a member of the Board of

He worked in the International Oil and Gas Industry for over 32 years and raised 3 boys.

Trevor Gloor is a retired public school teacher, after 17 years with Hawaii's DOE. He is currently Choice Theory/Reality Therapy certified, a psychology of internal control and positive choice, with Dr. William Glasser Institute. He lives with his wife, Laurel, in Papa'aloa, and celebrates being a grandpa and great-grandpa.

Jessica Kaneakua is the current School Database Administrator at LCPCS and has been at the school since SY 2014-2015. Kelly Campbell is the mother of 5 boys that have kept her very busy. She has cleaned houses, worked as a Human Resource Assistant, a Town Clerk and other office professions. She was blessed to be able to stay home most of the time while having younger kids at home. Since they have all been in school, she has worked at Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School as a Paraprofessional where she has worked with pre-school, lower elementary and the last two years in High School Special Education.
