LCPCS will develop its own in-house substitute teacher call list.  Please submit your resume and references if you are interested in being considered as a substitute for our school.

LCPCS seeks qualified substitutes who have met the requirements to be a DOE substitute (earned a Bachelor’s degree and have taken the substitute teacher course).  Interested individuals who do not meet DOE requirements will at least have to have been a substitute at LHES to be considered.  All interested persons will be interviewed by the Director before being placed on the substitute call list.

Seasider ‘Ohana,

On March 2, 2022, we had an Effects of Vaping presentation hosted by Sally Ancheta from the Tobacco Free Hawaii Island Coalition for our families, staff, and community members. We have posted the presentation recording on our social media pages and website to share it with those who weren’t able to attend.

Sally has extensive knowledge about tobacco products and the industry that sells them. She has arranged to be on our campus on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, to present to our middle and high school students.

If you have any questions related to the Effects of Vaping presentation and would like more information, please feel free to contact Sally Ancheta at [email protected] or Director Kurt Rix at [email protected]
